Māoriland Film Festival is New Zealand's premiere International Indigenous Film Festival held annually in March on the Kapiti Coast. Hosted by the tribes and sub tribes of Ōtaki the festival is located one hours drive from Wellington with the closest airport only 20 mins away.
With six highly successful and popular festivals in 2014 - 2019, Māoriland's unique venues and beachside environment has wowed international filmmakers, film festival representatives, distributors and other industry guests who enjoyed six days and nights of films from around the indigenous world.
