Aoraki / Mount Cook

Aoraki/Mount Cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain (3754m), is in the Southern Alps in the west of the South Island. More than a third of Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park is permanently under snow and ice. The park contains several glaciers; the best known is the Tasman Glacier.
